The 2022 Income Tax (IRPF) campaign managed by the Tax Agency continues to progress on the calendar. Although many taxpayers already carry out this annual procedure to settle accounts with the Treasury through the Internet, there are those who choose to prepare the declaration in person. This second group of people must be attentive to a series of dates and deadlines.
To begin with, making the Rent in person at the Treasury offices requires a prior appointment. The period to obtain a shift began on May 25, with June 29 being the last day to request it.
You can request an appointment by calling 91 535 73 26 / 901 12 12 24 (automatic telephones) or 91 553 00 71 / 901 22 33 44 (personal attention telephones) from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday to Friday. Said request can also be made on the website of the Tax Agency, although it is necessary to have a DNIe or electronic certificate, cl@ve or reference, or in the Tax Agency app.
Taxpayers who provide a mobile phone number when making their appointment, receive an SMS with the details of the day, center, time and the link to the documentation necessary to prepare their Income. In addition, they receive a second SMS reminder 48 hours before the appointment.
When going to the arranged appointment, the taxpayer must bring the tax data (if available) and the necessary documentation to carry out the calculations, as well as the original DNI / NIE of the holder who attends the appointment, a photocopy of the holders that appear in the declaration, the cadastral references and the IBAN of the bank account.
Regarding canceling or modifying the date of the appointment, the Tax Agency warns: if the taxpayer cannot attend an appointment, they must cancel it online or by calling 91 553 00 71 or 901 22 33 44 (from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday to Friday), up to 24 hours before the appointment. If you do not attend the appointment and it has not been cancelled, you can request a second appointment. However, in case of not attending or canceling that second time, the taxpayer may be excluded from the appointment service in the future.
In-person attention at the offices of the Tax Agency begins on Thursday, June 1, 2023. The last date to take into account is June 30, when the term to present the Income statement ends, either in person , online or by phone).
