Aloha Stadium in Hawaii will be closing its doors

Aloha Stadium, home to 35 NFL Pro Bowls will soon be closing its doors.

According to KHON, the governor of Hawaii David Ige has committed $400 million towards the construction of a new stadium that will replace Aloha Stadium.

The stadium will be demolished by 2023 or 2024. A new venue will be built by 2025.

It is anticipated that the new stadium will have seating capacities in the range from 30,000 to 35,000.

In January 2016, the NFL played the Pro Bowl in Hawaii. At the moment, there is no talk of Hawaii hosting the Pro Bowl.

The game has been played in 16 different venues. The L.A. The contest has been held 22 times at the Coliseum. The only other locations that have hosted the contest more than once are Gilmore Stadium in L.A. (two) and Camping World Stadium (four), both in Orlando.
