Baden-Württemberg: Husband after suspected murder of woman in custody

Titisee-Neustadt (dpa/lsw) – A 31-year-old is said to have murdered his wife in Titisee-Neustadt (Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald district). The man from East African Eritrea was taken into custody, the police and prosecutors announced on Monday.

The body of the 25-year-old was discovered in the couple’s apartment on Friday. The woman had been stabbed multiple times. The police searched for the suspected husband until they were able to arrest him on Sunday night.

The officials assume that relationship conflicts are the basis of the crime and that there was no danger to the public.
