Baden-Württemberg: young people fish alleged bomb from the Tauber

Wertheim (dpa / lsw) – Two 14-year-olds fished an alleged bomb out of the Tauber in Wertheim (Main-Tauber-Kreis) and thus triggered the use of the explosive ordnance disposal service. According to the police, the young people were on the river for magnet fishing on Monday. When they pulled the ammunition-like object out of the water on Friday, the youths researched the internet and came to the conclusion that it could be a flame jet bomb. After a call to the police, the explosive ordnance disposal service arrived. The experts recovered the bomb and were finally able to give the all-clear. According to a police spokesman, it was just a pipe filled with concrete.
