Bavaria: Jäger is said to be responsible for the shot on the passenger train

Straubing (dpa / lby) – A hunter probably accidentally shot at a passenger train near Straubing while hunting. No one was injured in Friday’s incident. The projectile pierced a pane of the train and got stuck in a train wall, the police said on Monday.

The hunter was therefore near the track section between Eglsee and the B20 when the train passed there. Investigations by the State Criminal Police Office had confirmed the suspicion, it said.

The hunter is now being investigated, among other things, on suspicion of dangerous intervention in rail traffic. In addition, the city of Straubing, as the responsible hunting authority, was informed.
