Bamberg (dpa / lby) – Brose Bamberg has signed the Israeli center Gabriel Chachashvili. As the basketball Bundesliga club announced on Friday, the 22-year-old will sign a two-year contract with Upper Franconia. “Gabi is a young, talented player with great ambitions. Although he had offers from other big clubs, he decided to join Brose,” said Bamberg coach Oren Amiel, according to the club’s statement. Most recently, the 2.12 meter tall basketball player played for the Israeli club Hapoel Galil Elyon.
