Disappearance. Contact established with Clara & Lara, two small German girls who are wanted in Paraguay

Their lawyer revealed that the mother and father of two German girls, aged 10 and 11, were brought to Paraguay by their parents in November 2021 without their consent and with no news since.

It was a fruitful conversation

“On behalf our clients Anne Reiniger (mother of Clara (Egler) and Filip Blank (father of Lara (Blank), I announce that, as part of their search for their daughters, fruitful conversations have taken places. “This is what took place,” Me Stephan Schultheiss said in a statement to press.

Clara, 10 years old, entered Paraguay with her father Andreas Rainer Egler (46), and his wife Anna Maria Egler (35). They were travelling with Lara Valentina Blank (11-year-old daughter of Anna Maria Egler, and Filip Blank).

Since then, the case has caused quite a stir in Germany.

Clara’s mother, Lara’s father and Clara authorized police to begin a search for the girls missing last week. Interpol issued arrest warrants to Anna Egler and Andreas Egler.

According to the lawyer, the couple of fugitive parents made themselves known in a video message. Contact was established between them.

“We are working together to find a solution that is fair to all the parties, but most importantly to the best interest of the child,” stated Mr. Schultheiss.

Anne Reiniger, Filip Blank and their lawyer have agreed to withdraw their complaint if they are able to reach an agreement to return the children to them and to establish a custody arrangement.
