Every year thousands of Spaniards take part in some of the oppositions that are held in Spain to obtain a position as a civil servant in the public administrations.

Some do it out of vocation and others to find in them the way to have a stable and well-paid job.

Be it one way or another, there are a number of oppositions that are easier than others if we take into account variables such as access requirements, the syllabus or the number of places and the frequency with which exams are held.

The oppositions for Administrative Assistant of the General State Administration (AGE) are always included in the lists of easy oppositions. This opposition only requires having ESO or an equivalent qualification and being over 16 years of age.

It consists of 28 topics, which are divided into 2 large blocks: Block I Public Organization, and Block II Administrative and Office Activity.

The oppositions of Judicial Assistance require to be 18 years old and Spanish nationality in addition to the title of ESO or similar.

For his part, Celador’s oppositions are one of the most recurrent. They are convened frequently and the agenda does not usually exceed 25 topics.

You need to be 16 years old, have an ESO degree or equivalent and some knowledge of the health field. The test is multiple choice but points can be added with a series of courses.

The salary varies between 1,200 and 1,500 euros.

While the Nursing Assistant oppositions present some small differences depending on the autonomous community. In general, it is required to have Vocational Training as a Nursing Auxiliary Care Technician or a First Degree Vocational Training degree in the health field.

Regarding the agenda, it ranges between 30 and 60 topics depending on the community.

They are called quite frequently and in the last calls the competition-opposition system has been used.

Salaries are around 1,500 euros per month.

Lastly, the Post Office competitions come out very frequently and tend to offer a large number of positions. In addition, the agenda is usually one of the shortest with 12 themes. The exam has a theoretical test, another test and a psychotechnical test. To this is added an assessment of merits.
