Hesse: Cloudy start to the week in Hesse

Offenbach (dpa / lhe) – In Hesse, cloudy and partly rainy weather is expected at the start of the week. It will rain on Monday night, and snow and ice can be expected in the mountains and in the north, the German Weather Service (DWD) in Offenbach said on Sunday. On Monday, a little rain is still expected regionally until noon, after which it will remain mostly dry. The maximum temperatures are between six and nine degrees and four degrees at high altitudes.

During the night of Tuesday, rain is to be expected again at times, sleet is possible in the higher mountains. Temperatures drop to five to three degrees and to one degree at high altitudes. According to the forecast, fresh winds with sometimes strong gusts can be expected at night in the south.

On Tuesday it will remain mostly dry and cloudy. The meteorologists expect moderate wind and locally strong gusts in the south-west, but these will decrease in the afternoon. It may rain at times on Wednesday night. The lows are at five to two degrees and at high altitudes at one to minus one degree. The cloudy and humid weather will continue on Wednesday. Local rain increases from the southwest throughout the day. In the south there is a weak to moderate wind, which in the higher mountains can sometimes freshen up with gusts.
