Hesse: Man drives without a license and hides from the police

Bischofsheim (dpa/lhe) – A man fled from a traffic check in Bischofsheim (Groß-Gerau district) on Saturday afternoon and then hid from the police in a bush. The reason for his behavior may have been the lack of a driver’s license, which the 56-year-old had to give up some time ago, the police said.

Accordingly, the driver initially ignored the police officers’ stop signs, fled and then parked the car a few streets away. The police officers first found the parked car unlocked and a little later the 56-year-old in a nearby bush. A traffic offense was reported against the man from Bischofsheim and the 77-year-old owner of the car.
