Hesse: Stefanie Heinzmann comes to the Bad Hersfeld monastery ruins

Bad Hersfeld (dpa/lhe) – The Swiss pop and soul singer Stefanie Heinzmann is giving a concert in the monastery ruins at this year’s Bad Hersfeld Festival. On July 31 (8 p.m.) Heinzmann will perform with her band, the festival management announced on Friday. In addition to the already announced concert by Yvonne Catterfeld, it is another musical highlight of the festival season.

Heinzmann is also an artist “with an impressive musical range,” explained director Joern Hinkel. “I also like that she – although she had a lightning career after her discovery in Stefan Raab’s casting show – proved that she is not a “one-hit-wonder” and goes her own way.” The title of the concert “XV – Celebrating 15 years of love

Heinzmann has already released six albums and won numerous awards for them. Over time, she has also entered into some extraordinary collaborations and not only shared the stage with international stars such as Lionel Richie, Jos Stone or Tower of Power, but also worked with Udo Lindenberg and Peter Maffay. Stefanie Heinzmann’s concert will be presented by the radio station hr3.

The Bad Hersfeld Festival will be officially opened on June 30, 2023 with the Shakespeare classic “King Lear” staged by Tina Lanik. The musical “Jesus Christ Superstar” and “Die Rache der Fledermaus” – a funny and offbeat version of the famous operetta “Die Fledermaus” by Johann Strauss – are also on the festival program until August 27th. There will also be a revival of the play “Dead Poets Society” and “The Little Ghost” for children. Yvonne Catterfeld will perform with her band on August 17, 2023 in the monastery ruins.
