Frankfurt/Main (dpa/lhe) – A good two years after a bloody altercation in front of a club in Hofheim (Main-Taunus district), the police arrested two of the alleged attackers. According to the Frankfurt public prosecutor’s office, the third suspect was not at home when his apartment was searched on Wednesday.
The 25, 26 and 28-year-old men are said to have knocked a then 22-year-old to the ground in September 2020 and then stabbed him with a knife. The man suffered life-threatening injuries. What the argument was about is unclear.
The two arrested should appear before the magistrate on Wednesday. The investigators accuse the suspects from Kosovo of joint attempted manslaughter. According to the information, around 50 officers were involved in the search of apartments in Frankfurt, Kelkheim (Main-Taunus-Kreis) and Wiesbaden.
