Hesse: train hits car at level crossing: no one injured

Reichelsheim (dpa / lhe) – A regional train collided with a small van at a level crossing in Reichelsheim in the Wetteraukreis. The 51-year-old driver drove over the secured level crossing on Thursday and missed the approaching train, the police said on Friday. The train driver therefore initiated an emergency brake and brushed the vehicle on the front. Nobody got hurt. The van was therefore hardly damaged. The driver is now being investigated because of the dangerous intervention in rail traffic.
