Hesse: Unknown blow up two ATMs in a bank branch

Frankfurt/Main (dpa/lhe) – Unknown persons blew up two ATMs in the Praunheim district of Frankfurt. According to initial information from the police, it was unclear whether they got hold of the money on Wednesday. “Everything is in ruins here,” said a police spokesman. According to him, two masked criminals broke into the bank early in the morning. Shortly afterwards there was an explosion.

The two suspects fled on a scooter. The police also searched the area with a helicopter. Information on the extent of the damage was not initially available. The Hessian Radio had reported on the blast.
