Love only public for a short time: Moritz Bleibtreu got married

Moritz Bleibtreu only made his love for his girlfriend Saskia public in November last year. Now the couple is getting married in Schleswig-Holstein. Colleagues such as Til Schweiger and Wotan Wilke-Möhring have been invited to the party.

Last Friday, Moritz Bleibtreu said “yes” in a small group. The marriage of the 50-year-old actor and his 31-year-old fiancée Saskia de Tschaschell took place at Reinbek Castle in Schleswig-Holstein, just outside Hamburg.

Around 50 guests were invited, among them of course colleagues from Bleibtreu such as Til Schweiger, Uwe Ochsenknecht and Wotan Wilke-Möhring, but also the Hamburg neighborhood giant Kalle Schwensen. He shared several videos and pictures from the event on Facebook.

Bleibtreu’s manager confirmed the marriage on Saturday at the request of the “Bild” newspaper: “I can confirm that Moritz Bleibtreu got married yesterday in Reinbek. They actually had the plan to say yes during a trip somewhere warm,” it is quoted there.

Moritz Bleibtreu and Saskia de Tschaschell are said to have been in a relationship for two years. The actor only presented his loved one to the public for the first time last November. At that time he brought her to the premiere of the RTL series “Faking Hitler”, in which he played Konrad Kujau, the forger of the Hitler diaries. He was “forgiven and very happy,” he said at the time.

According to information from the “Bild” newspaper, Saskia de Tschaschell works as a human resources manager at the Shell oil company and speaks six languages, including Norwegian and Dutch. Before her, Moritz Bleibtreu was with a 40-year-old media designer, with whom he has their 13-year-old son David.
