Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania: searches in MV because of hate postings on the net

Schwerin (dpa/mv) – Because of the suspicion of hate postings on the Internet, three apartments in Rostock, Neubrandenburg and the district of Rostock were searched on Wednesday. The investigations are directed against four suspects between the ages of 29 and 55, as Interior Minister Christian level (SPD) announced. “They are accused of having published insults, incitement to hatred, as well as signs and symbols of unconstitutional organizations on the Internet.”

18 officers were involved in the searches. Four mobile phones, PC technology, a laptop, two tablets, various storage media, a games console and print media were seized. According to the information, the raids took place as part of a nationwide day of action to combat hate postings.
