Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania: State government meeting and citizens' forum in Malchow

Malchow (dpa / mv) – The cabinet will not meet on Tuesday (9.30 a.m.) as usual in Schwerin, but in Malchow (Mecklenburg Lake District district). After the weekly consultation of the ministers, which this time takes place in the state school for fire and disaster protection in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania in Malchow, the government members want to swarm out to appointments in the Müritz region. The motto is “local government”.

Minister of Social Affairs Stefanie Drese (SPD) visited a care base in Waren and Minister of Culture Bettina Martin (SPD) visited the old synagogue in Stavenhagen. She wants to talk to representatives of the sponsoring association about volunteering for culture in the countryside. Prime Minister Manuela Schwesig (SPD) and Interior Minister Christian level (SPD) want to hand over a fire engine together in full peace of mind.

In the evening (6 p.m.) the government invites you to a joint citizens’ forum in the Müritzeum in Waren. “Talking to the citizens of the state is of central importance to us,” said Schwesig in advance. “We want to know what moves the local people in their region and use the impressions and suggestions for our work.”
