North Rhine-Westphalia: ATM in Schwalmtal blown up

Schwalmtal (dpa / lnw) – An ATM in Schwalmtal (Viersen district) has been blown up. The machine and the anteroom of the bank were badly damaged on Friday night, the police said. Witnesses saw three people dressed in dark driving away in a car with Dutch license plates. It was initially unclear whether and how much money they stole. Nobody got hurt. The apartments above the bank had been cleared, it said.
