North Rhine-Westphalia: bus crashes against a row of shops: five injured

Sankt Augustin (dpa / lnw) – A pregnant woman and four other people were slightly injured in an accident between a bus and a taxi. The bus left the street in Sankt Augustin near Bonn on Monday, drove along a row of shops and had damaged or completely destroyed several shop windows, according to the volunteer fire brigade. Three of the injured came to clinics, including the pregnant woman as a precaution.

The fire brigade did not have to rescue anyone, the passengers got off the bus themselves. Experts from the building authority and a structural engineer examined the building. The cause of the accident and the amount of property damage were initially unclear.
