North Rhine-Westphalia: Cheerful autumn weather in NRW – individual gusts of wind possible

Essen (dpa / lnw) – The weather in North Rhine-Westphalia will remain mostly clear on Wednesday, with only isolated gusts of wind. The day began partly with clouds, but later the sun made its way, according to the German Weather Service (DWD) in Essen. Towards the evening, the clouds will therefore thicken, but it will mostly remain dry. Strong gusts occur in the west and north-west of the country, which can sometimes become stormy at high altitudes.

During the day it is noticeably milder with maximum temperatures between 19 and 23 degrees. On Thursday night it will remain overcast, with some rain expected. The temperatures drop to 11 to 7 degrees.

After a rainy night, the weather looks friendlier on Thursday. According to the DWD, it will initially be cloudy in the morning, later it will be mostly sunny. The temperatures reach a maximum of 16 to 19 degrees, at high altitudes 15 degrees are expected.
