Düsseldorf (dpa / lnw) – A Düsseldorf restaurateur and the state of North Rhine-Westphalia are arguing before the administrative court on Wednesday (10 a.m.) about 70,000 euros. The police are said to have secured the sum from a guest around two years ago during a corona check in a Düsseldorf café. The plaintiff restaurateur claims that the money belongs to him and comes from cash withdrawals from his various businesses, among other things. According to the information, the man runs several restaurants in Düsseldorf. He claims to have given the guest the 70,000 euros at the time because he wanted to open a bistro with them. However, the country has serious doubts about the origin of the money and the details of ownership.
