North Rhine-Westphalia: Sometimes friendly, sometimes rainy: Unstable weather in NRW

Essen (dpa/lnw) – Some friendly, some changeable: The people in North Rhine-Westphalia will have to adapt to different weather conditions in the coming days with warm summer temperatures. On Thursday it will initially be cheerful, as a meteorologist from the German Weather Service (DWD) said in Essen. With a mix of sun and clouds, it stays dry – with temperatures of a maximum of 23 degrees in the north and 27 degrees in the Rhineland.

In the night on Friday, showery rain finally pulls up. Thunderstorms are also possible. In the morning the situation calms down again and the sun can also be seen at times, according to the expert. In the course of the day, however, there will be local showers again and individual thunderstorms, especially in the south and east of the country. The maximum temperatures reach 23 to 27 degrees.

After all, the DWD expects Saturday to be rather friendly. On Sunday it will be changeable again – with denser clouds and rain.
