Ribera is shielded after the EU in the War of Light: If you take action, we will be willing to withdraw our

The Vice President and Minister for the Ecological Transition, Teresa Ribera, has recognized that the Government would be more comfortable addressing the current crisis of light on a common front with the European Union than with its measures to reduce the invoice.
In the Forum Reuters Impact, Ribera has ensured that if the EU takes its own measures, they would forget “any other national solution”.

The Vice Minister’s response came after a question regarding these tools, seeking to use the extraordinary benefits of the electrical ones to limit the price of the gas and the amount of the light invoice.
Thus, the government aspires to end 2021 at a level similar to the one that had at the end of 2018.

“If the EU took action, it would seem good to continue with them and forget any other national solution,” said Ribera, who recalled that the package announced by the executive was “something exceptional”, according to Reuters.

The Minister believes that the Commission is responsive to this Common Front: “He has understood that the situation is not politically neither economically affordable”.
In this sense, she remembered the joint approach to the purchase of vaccines, which could be transferred to the acquisition of gas.
Spain has already transferred a proposal to establish a strategic reserve of this good or a European platform to buy it.
