The Princess of Asturias returns to the royal stand on the day of the National Holiday after two years of absence due to her stay in Wales, where she was studying international baccalaureate. Doña Leonor will finally not parade with the rest of her classmates from the Academy, and she will witness the parade from the box. The question is whether or not she will go in the cadet uniform or dressed in civilian clothes. Afterwards, the Heiress will join her parents at a reception attended by more than a thousand guests from all walks of life. The Heiress begins a new stage, associated with her coming of age and her training. Thus, the Princess began military life on August 17 and this October 7 she will take another step, swearing the flag and loyalty to Spain. Doña Leonor will turn 18 on October 31 and that same day she will also swear in the Constitution and receive the collar of the Order of Carlos III, a decoration that adds to the Golden Fleece, which she received on January 30, 2018. After this month of events and prominence of the Princess, Doña Leonor will once again focus on her studies at the General Military Academy (AGM), where she will remain until next July, when she will join the Navy Academy in Marín to train alongside other midshipmen and receive basic knowledge before enlisting on the Juan Sebastián Elcano, on whose ship he will spend six months sailing. Finally, Leonor will go to the General Air Academy in San Javier (Murcia) to finish her military training.
The Heiress will combine this entire university stage with a greater weight on the agenda.
