Breitenbrunn/Chemnitz (dpa/sn) – A 50-year-old driver was seriously injured in a collision with another car in Breitenbrunn in the Ore Mountains. She was taken to a hospital by the emergency services, the police in Chemnitz said on Thursday. According to previous knowledge, the woman fell into a microsleep late Wednesday evening and therefore got into the oncoming lane in a right-hand bend with her car, where she crashed into the oncoming car of a 56-year-old. The vehicles were no longer drivable. The woman did not have a driver’s license, it said. She is being investigated for endangering road traffic.
