Dänkritz (dpa/sn) – Three people were seriously injured in a head-on collision on Thursday evening in Dänkritz (Zwickau district). A police spokesman said on Friday morning that a 27-year-old lost control of his vehicle, allegedly while overtaking a truck. The 27-year-old’s car collided head-on with a driving school car that was traveling in the opposite lane. The 18-year-old driver and his 64-year-old teacher were seriously injured in the collision. The 27-year-old also suffered serious injuries. The people were rescued from the completely destroyed cars and taken to a hospital. The road was closed for five and a half hours as a result of the accident.
