Spain A train passenger who shouted to be from Hamas and sexually assaulted two women is arrested in Zaragoza

Civil Guard agents have arrested a passenger who was traveling on the train that made the Zaragoza-Pamplona route as the alleged perpetrator of crimes of disorderly conduct, threats and sexual assault.

The incident, which occurred this Sunday, forced the train, in which 400 people were traveling, to stop for about 40 minutes near the Zaragoza town of Gallur. The convoy had left the Aragonese capital at 1:00 p.m. and was due to arrive in Pamplona at 3:30 p.m.

According to what Heraldo de Aragón and 20Minutos published this Monday, and sources from the Civil Guard have confirmed, the passenger in question got up from his seat and started shouting that he was from the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas, which alarmed the rest of the travelers. He then began to threaten them and ended up approaching two women and rubbing his genitals in their faces.

Renfe sources have confirmed that on the aforementioned trip there was a public order problem and that the employees, as established by the action protocol, notified the Civil Guard and stopped the train. The agents boarded the convoy and proceeded to arrest the alleged aggressor, a man of Moroccan nationality, who has been brought to justice.
