Spain Demonstration against the amnesty in Barcelona on November 12: schedule, route and traffic cuts

This Sunday a new demonstration against the amnesty law agreed this week between Pedro Sánchez and Carles Puigdemont will also take place in Barcelona, ??which will facilitate the investiture of the acting President of the Government in the coming days.

The call is made on this occasion by the Cataluña Suma platform, unlike the rest of the capitals where the Popular Party has been the convener. However, from the entity’s website they have also confirmed the adhesion to the demonstration of both the PP and Vox.

The event will be this Sunday, November 12, in the Plaza de Sant Jaume at 12 noon in front of the Palau de la Generalitat and the Barcelona City Council. Different traffic cuts are expected in the access areas to the Plaza de San Jaume itself.

According to the organizers, the rally also has the support of more than 50 constitutionalist entities.

On this occasion, the slogan used for the demonstration next Sunday, November 12 in Barcelona will be “Not in the name of Spain. No to the amnesty.”

Last October 8, the Catalan Civil Society convened a demonstration in Barcelona under the slogan ‘No in my number. No amnesty, no self-determination.

According to the vice president of the Catalan Civil Society (SCC), Álex Ramos, there were 300,000 people attending the march. For its part, the Urban Guard estimated the attendance of about 50,000 people.

On that occasion, the demonstration began on Paseo de Gràcia in Barcelona and ended on Gran Vía.
