Stimulus package of the Federal government: New coat of paint for a twelve-Hesse stations

Around 40 million euros from the economic stimulus package of the Federal government are provided for almost 170 train stations in Germany, 12 of them in Hesse. Especially small craft company will be contracted to work with the renovation, as the Federal Minister of transport, Andreas Scheuer (CSU) announced on Friday.

Originally Scheuer had significantly more money in the prospect. In mid-June, he spoke of 160 million euros for the modernization and rehabilitation of the 380 railway stations. For Hesse, the following stations are provided: Cölbe, Darmstadt Hbf, Dreieich-Sprendlingen, Offenbach (Main) Ost Frankfurt (Main) Hbf, Frankfurt (Main) Mühlberg, Fulda, Kassel Hbf, Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe, Limburg Süd, Rüsselsheim and Wiesbaden Hbf.
