Tammy Slaton, a star from the reality TV show 1000-Lb Sisters, has been making headlines with her impressive weight loss transformation. Previously weighing over 700 pounds when she first appeared on TLC’s weight-loss show with her sister Amy in 2020, Tammy has now slimmed down to just 281 pounds. In a recent clip posted on TLC’s Instagram, she proudly showed off her trimmed figure in a sleek black top while weighing in at 281.2 pounds.

During a visit to the doctor’s office, Tammy weighed 303 pounds and decided to make a change. Over the course of three months, she managed to lose about 20 pounds, surprising her older brother Chris Combs, who always saw her as “big Tammy.” Despite being the baby sister, Tammy now weighs less than Chris, who weighs 284 pounds.

Tammy has been on a weight loss journey for several years, documenting her progress on the TLC series. After shedding a remarkable 200 pounds within two years, she underwent bariatric surgery in 2022 and lost around 300 pounds. By April of this year, Tammy had lost a total of 440 pounds and no longer requires the use of an oxygen support tank during the daytime.

Although Tammy is thrilled with her progress, she still has goals to achieve. She hopes to undergo skin removal surgery, but was advised in a recent episode of the show that she may need to wait another year due to her recent bariatric surgery. The doctors suggested that she continue losing weight to qualify for the additional operation.

Tammy’s determination and hard work have paid off, and she continues to inspire others with her weight loss journey. Her story serves as a reminder that with dedication and perseverance, anything is possible.
