The main index of the Spanish Stock Exchange changes components in the final stretch of the year.
The viscofan meat envelopes firm leaves the IBEX 35 and its place will be occupied by ROVI laboratories, as communicated by the Technical Advisory Committee after its meeting on Tuesday.
The modifications will come into force as of December 20, 2021. Rovi was among the favorite values of analysts to become part of the IBEX 35, along with ACCIONA Energy, Sacyr or Logista.
To make their decisions, the Technical Advisory Committee takes into account the volume of contracting and that the values have an average capitalization greater than 0.30% of the average capitalization of the selection during the control period.
Rovi was a candidate to enter the IBEX, both by volume negotiated and by meeting the minimum weighting criterion.
The adjustment of the index will be made at the close of the December 17 session, so that the ROVI entry and the Viscofan output are made effective as of December 20.
The next monitoring meeting of the Technical Advisory Committee will be held on March 10, 2022.
