The Islamic State claims the attack against the Shiite minority in Afghanistan that has left at least 62 dead

The Islamic State Yihadist Group (EI) claimed today the authoria decently against the Shiite minority during Friday prayers in a mosque in the city of Kandahar, in southern Afghanistan, which left at least 62 dead.

“Dozens of dead and injuries from the renegade polytheists in a double martyrdom operation that aimed at his temple in Kandahar,” said the EI in a statement.

The EI added that the “first martyr had detonated his explosive vest against an agglomeration of polytheists in the temple lobby, while the second detonated his explosive vest in the middle of the temple.”

“The two explosions caused the fall of dozens of renegades between dead and injuries, as well as great destruction in the temple,” the note concluded.
