Stadtilm (dpa/th) – Two people were seriously injured in a traffic accident near Stadtilm in the Ilm district. A 78-year-old driver turned from the L1047 onto the L3087 on Wednesday evening and collided with the car of a 24-year-old, the police said on Thursday morning. The 78-year-old and his 72-year-old passenger were seriously injured. The L3087 had to be completely closed for three hours due to the salvage work. The amount of property damage was initially unknown.
