Thuringia: New Thuringian wine princess is to be crowned

Bad Sulza (dpa/th) – The new wine princess is to be crowned at the 28th wine festival in Bad Sulza (Weimarer Land) on Sunday (3 p.m.). She will succeed Kateryna Kinter, who won the title last year. The potential wine princesses must be single and between 20 and 25 years old. Only women who live in Thuringia are eligible for volunteer work.

In addition, the applicants must have knowledge about wine, the history of wine, viticulture and wine production. The wine princesses have between 150 and 200 representative appointments and performances a year. According to the city, the wine festival in Bad Sulza is the largest of its kind in Thuringia.
