U.S. Marshals on Friday arrested a man wanted in connection with the killing of a man in Oakmont last year, officials said.

Ian Guliani, 34, was wanted for the June 26 shooting death of Brandon Turowski, 27, during a home invasion on View Street, according to police.

Investigators filed the charges against Guliani in December.

Marshals arrested Guliani – also known as Ian Kaminiski – without incident at a hotel on McKnight Road, according to Deputy Jon Gallagher.

Turowski was killed when Guliani and another man broke into his home shortly after 4 a.m., police said. Turowski had been shot in the thigh, and he later died at Forbes Regional Hospital.

Court records show Guliani is charged with homicide, robbery, burglary and conspiracy.
