Who is Orestes? The mythical contestant returns to Pasapalabra

Orestes Barbero has returned to the program that, as Roberto Leal indicated, is part of him.
Very excited, Orestes affirmed, before returning to the already known the Rosco, the return of him was a pending account: “I love the personal challenge that he supposes and the human facet he has to make many spectators happy.”

Orestes, born in Burgos, is 24 years old and is graduated in philology from the University of Salamanca.
In the last participation of him he confessed that he is studying the philosophy race and they have among the goals of him to be a teacher.

The faithful spectators of the program already know Orestes very well for their extensive and successful trajectory in the contest.
In addition, the charisma and sympathy of him conquered the audience, becoming one of the most beloved contestants.

ORESTES is passionate about the program and did not hesitate to introduce themselves to the casting as soon as it could;
He debuted in Pasapalabra with only 19 years in 2016, showing that he was a great genius.

Three years later, in 2019, with 22 years, he had a new opportunity and took advantage of it: the young man accumulated 119 programs and left with 68,400 euros, hitting more than 2,500 words on the Rosco.

In this long stage, Orestes beat several records: next to Jero García, it became the first couple of the format with more cumulative duels: they faced 75 times.
This feat has only been surpassed by Pablo Díaz, who faced Javier Dávila 76 times and Luis de Lama 84. Although they were not as many as Jero, with Rafa Castaño also came far, reaching a total of 41 duels.

In February 2021, on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Pasapalabra, Orestes returned to compete for one day next to the historic ex-host Rafa Castaño.
The viewer, in addition to enjoying his duel number 42 before millions of spectators, Pasapalabra put 100,000 euros at stake and gave the winner the right to return as a contestant.

However, they were in a special program in which their dream was coming back, and Roberto Leal did not want to break that magic, providing both a second chance.

Months later, it has been the turn of Orestes and is more than happy and prepared to continue breaking records and surpassed himself.
After uncomfortable Jose in the ‘Blue Chair’, on the first Rosco after the turn of him faced Jesus and fought for a boat of 122,000 euros.
Both kept everything in Vilo until the last second, arriving, both, to the final straight with 22 successes and without failures.
The result was a tie.
