Winter weather Warms across the United States with multiple storms bringing Rain, Snow and blizzard conditions

A winter storm that awakened to 15 inches of snow and compelled coronavirus testing websites to close at the center of the nation is expected to attract additional precipitation into parts of the Northeast on Wednesday, while forecasters are warning of the”atmospheric river” which can generate hazardous traveling conditions around the West Coast.

“Snow could linger throughout portions of the Northeast while some lingering precipitation into the south quickly tapers off,” that the NWS stated in a Wednesday advisory. “An overall two to four inches, with locally higher levels can be anticipated, particularly in the hills”

“Snow could mix with rain during the southern Mid-Atlantic early on Thursday because the region of low pressure reinforces and proceeds to dash eastward to the Atlantic,” it added.

The West, meanwhile, is still getting slammed with unbelievable amounts of rainfall and ft of snow because an “atmospheric river” sets up and attracts constant pacific moisture to the area.
