Growth Catalyst Partners, a private equity firm based in the US that focuses on investing in information, marketing, and tech-enabled services, has recently acquired InspiredMinds!, a UK-based global technology and science strategy group. InspiredMinds! is known for its presence in the AI and AI healthcare markets and has built a strong reputation as an award-winning company.

Founded in 2017 by technology entrepreneur Sarah Porter, InspiredMinds! has grown to become a leading voice in the industry, with a community spanning across 160+ countries. The company is dedicated to the ethical development of AI and has been instrumental in organizing large AI summits like World Summit AI and Intelligent Health, which bring together leaders in the field to discuss the latest innovations and regulations in artificial intelligence.

Sarah Porter, the CEO and founder of InspiredMinds!, expressed her excitement about the acquisition by Growth Catalyst Partners, stating that it comes at a crucial time for human-AI collaboration. With the support of the private equity firm, InspiredMinds! aims to further its mission of promoting equitable AI and exploring the opportunities that AI presents for the future.

As part of the acquisition, InspiredMinds! will be integrated into the Data Society Group, a US-based platform that focuses on developing workforces with expertise in data and AI. Despite this integration, InspiredMinds! will continue to operate independently and has plans to launch its AI summits in the United States in 2025.

Connor Dawson, the managing director of Growth Catalyst Partners, emphasized the significance of the acquisition, highlighting the shared missions of InspiredMinds! and Data Society Group. He believes that the combined business will serve as a valuable resource for AI and data leaders globally, with a particular focus on expanding into the US market under the leadership of Doug Llewellyn, the CEO of Data Society Group.
