Data security: Credit card data stolen from 380,000 British Airways customers

British airline British Airways has announced that data from around 380,000 passengers and passengers have been stolen. According to airline, re was a breakdown at booking via Internet site or via app. In case of payments with credit card data on bank details and personal data of hundreds of thousands of customers were stolen.

They were affected by customers who had booked a flight online and made a card payment between 21 August and 5 September. This was announced by DieMuttergesellschaft International Airlines Group. Details of booked travel or passport information are not gestohlenworden.

If you have made a booking during said period, you should contact your bank or your credit card provider. The breakdown is now fixed and website is functioning normally again.
