Protein Works, a high-protein food and shake maker, is set to consolidate its operations in a new 100,000 sq ft industrial unit located off Speke Boulevard. This move is part of the company’s plan to scale aggressively and grow its annual revenues beyond £100m, while doubling its production output. The new facility, named the P.Works Campus, will house research facilities and a logistics hub to support distribution.

Laura Keir, the chief executive of Protein Works, emphasized the importance of being based in the North West for the company’s growth. She highlighted the significance of having all aspects of the business, including product development, manufacturing, marketing, and technology, under one roof to foster collaboration and synergy.

Kyle Crowley, the director of product strategy and innovation at Protein Works, expressed optimism about the move to Speke, stating that it would enable the company to scale aggressively. The pre-let deal at Speke 100 was facilitated by B8RE, showcasing the attractiveness of the location to investors.
