news-24092024-162705

Panattoni has recently introduced a new European logistics income fund aimed at raising €300 million by 2026. The fund, known as the Panattoni Income Fund, will have an open-ended structure and plans to invest in sustainable and income-producing logistics properties totaling €600 million.

This initiative involves Panattoni’s owners and management team co-investing in the fund. The advisory team for the fund is located in Poland, with Krzysztof Dudek serving as the managing director. Dudek will oversee various aspects of the fund, including operations, investment activities, portfolio management, asset management, as well as fundraising and capital flows.

The primary focus of the fund will be on acquiring stabilised assets and forward-purchase pre-let developments with high sustainability ratings. These properties will be located in countries where Panattoni has a presence, such as Central and Eastern Europe (with a particular emphasis on Poland), the UK, Italy, Spain, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, and Scandinavia. To kickstart the fund, stabilised Panattoni-managed assets in Poland will be included in the portfolio.

This new venture by Panattoni is a strategic move to capitalize on the growing demand for modern and sustainable logistics properties across Europe. By targeting assets in key markets and focusing on sustainability, the fund aims to generate consistent income while also promoting environmentally friendly practices within the logistics industry.

Investing in logistics properties has become increasingly popular among institutional investors seeking stable returns and portfolio diversification. With the rise of e-commerce and the need for efficient supply chains, logistics real estate has emerged as a resilient and lucrative asset class.

By establishing the Panattoni Income Fund, Panattoni is not only expanding its investment portfolio but also creating opportunities for investors to participate in the booming logistics sector. With a strong emphasis on sustainability and a diverse geographic focus, the fund is well-positioned to attract capital from investors looking to align their portfolios with responsible and profitable investment opportunities.
