Jaguar is gearing up to revolutionize its brand with the upcoming debut of a new concept car that will give a glimpse of its highly anticipated electric GT. The big reveal is scheduled for 2nd December during Miami Art Week, marking a significant milestone in what Jaguar calls the “next stage in Jaguar’s transformation.”

According to Autocar’s previous reports, this radical concept car will showcase a new design language that will shape a trio of models, including a four-door GT, an SUV similar to the Bentley Bentayga, and a limousine comparable to the Bentley Flying Spur. These models will be built on the long-wheelbase JEA platform, specifically designed for Jaguar’s new generation of vehicles.

The electric GT is expected to offer a range of over 430 miles and deliver power exceeding 575bhp, with a starting price around £100,000. Jaguar’s managing director, Rawdon Glover, emphasized the importance of the US market while underscoring the brand’s commitment to its British heritage.

In addition to the buzz surrounding the concept car, Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has begun testing camouflaged prototypes of the next-gen Jaguars. The electric GT is projected to hit the market in late 2026, with initial deliveries slated for the summer of the same year.

Notably, Jaguar recently halted new car sales in the UK and discontinued the production of the F-Pace SUV for its domestic market. However, the F-Pace will still be available in other regions. JLR’s CEO, Adrian Mardell, disclosed that global production of the F-Pace will cease in the first quarter of 2026.

In a related development, JLR reported a 25% increase in profits for the first half of the 2025 financial year compared to the previous year. Despite facing challenges like an aluminum shortage that impacted production in the second quarter, JLR managed to rake in £1.1 billion in profits. The profit before tax for the July-September period dipped by 10% year-on-year to £398 million.

The positive financial results coupled with the exciting prospects of the new Jaguar concept car underscore a promising future for the iconic British automaker as it embarks on a new chapter of innovation and sustainability.
