Reader mail of the school: We don’t need a WHITE House

dear ladies and gentlemen,

my Name is Julian, Robin Miller and I am graduate of the “vintage Corona”. Until Recently, I have attended the state music grammar school in Montabaur, but I Express myself not only on the piano, in singing and composition, but times to process my thoughts on various topics.

I have the article by Cornelius Dieckmann on 16. June learning to read on the recognition of civil rights such as Martin Luther King through various American and European institutions, and was, except for me, that it can come to such a shameless exploitation. Figures of the Civil Rights Movement should not be an Instrument for the justification of a particular political opinion, they should be role models of each Policy sector.

In consequence of these thoughts, I created an image that you can use, perhaps, in terms of the Black-Lives-Matter-movement. I know that probably the largest part of text on this topic has already been posted, but I think it’s important that it is now in the art and culture and there is a new Form of representation can be found. I’ve tried, even in this difficult year, in which all the plans were thwarted, to find a balance in the art and, therefore, as an example of my Vintage. Maybe you can use the image and my Intention, Yes; it would make me very happy.

The work is called “No Need For A WHITE House”. Martin Luther King, drawn according to a recording move on the lectern, just to other words, sweeping in the foreground. Any skin color loses the always grey charcoal drawing of their importance. His clothing is formed by a couple of quotes from mostly American and colored Celebrities, such as Michelle Obama, have expressed to the BLM movement. The records deal exclusively with the Problem of structural racism in a global perspective.
