Salmon sold at Carrefour, the stores, and U Casino withdrawn from sale

bacon salmon marketed by the marks U, Casino and Carrefour have been withdrawn from sale since June 12, after the identification of Listeria monocytogenes, the bacterium responsible for listeriosis.

Some of these products have, however, been sold before the recall action”, said Carrefour in a statement, calling on its customers with one of the products belonging to the batch concerned “not to consume them and destroy them or return them to the point of sale where they (their) will be refunded”.
