Cuatro The legendary Callejeros returns 10 years later with a "renewed team of reporters"

10 years have passed since the last season of the legendary Callejeros and now the program returns. As reported by Mediaset, Cuatro is already preparing with Señor Mono, a producer in charge of other spaces for Cuatro such as Mónica y elsexual and Maribáñez. The worst team in the world, and Nacho Medina the new installments of this mythical space, which “will have a renewed team of reporters.”

It was in 2014 when Mediaset decided not to renew the program after constant wear and tear in its audiences. Callejeros then said goodbye, becoming one of the cornerstones of Cuatro and a school of reporting from which other programs later drank. At the moment, Mediaset has not reported when the premiere of this new Callejeros will be.

Callejeros left many of the great moments on television. Each Callejeros program always left great moments that, although the networks were not at their peak, always went viral and became some of the most talked about topics the next day.

The program consisted of a journalist and a cameraman interviewing and recording unpublished moments showing everyday aspects of places, professions or events, in a hand-held report narrated in the first person.

Today’s great television reporters came from Callejeros, such as Alejandra Andrade, who last week premiered with great success the first program of her new season of Fuera de Cobertura, or Jalis de la Serna, who also does the same for laSexta with her Special Envoy.

In fact, the new Callejeros is directed by Nacho Medina, one of the first reporters the program had. In addition, it is also a new producer that will be in charge of the program, since in the past the format was carried out by the production company Molinos de Papel.

The program aired on Cuatro between 2005 and 2014, broadcasting a total of 357 installments. Although Callejeros never completely left, since Mediaset continued to broadcast many of its old installments on some of its channels.

Callejeros won the Ondas Award for Best Current Affairs Program or Special Coverage, in addition to four Iris awards and five TP de Oro awards, among many other awards.
