Olivier-Winning Play ‘Dear England’ Returns to London’s National Theatre

The critically acclaimed play “Dear England” is set to make a triumphant return to the U.K. National Theatre’s Olivier theater venue from March 10 to May 24, 2025. Following its London run, the play will have a four-week engagement at The Lowry in Salford from May 29 to June 29, 2025.

Written by James Graham and directed by Rupert Goold, “Dear England” explores the story of the England men’s soccer team under Gareth Southgate. The play will be updated to include this summer’s UEFA Euro 2024 soccer championship, providing a fresh perspective on the team’s role in English society.
