BBC Radio 2 in the Park Festival Headliners Revealed in Preston

BBC Radio 2 in the Park festival in Preston this September will feature legendary headliners Pet Shop Boys and Sting. The event, spanning three days for the first time, will also showcase performances from Manic Street Preachers, Sugababes, Craig David, Snow Patrol, Travis, and Sister Sledge.

The festival will kick off with a Friday night “pre-party” featuring DJ sets from Radio 2 presenters like Sara Cox and Vernon Kay. Taking place in Preston’s Moor Park from 6-8 September, tickets go on sale on Tuesday, 4 June.

Pet Shop Boys, headlining for the second time after five years, will perform their greatest hits set from their ongoing Dreamworld tour. Sting will headline on Saturday with his newly-formed trio, Sting 3.0, promising stripped-down versions of his biggest hits along with some deep cuts.

Sugababes have reunited with their original lineup of Siobhan Donaghy, Keisha Buchanan, and Mutya Buena for the festival. The event, previously a one-day festival in Hyde Park, moved out of the capital in 2023.

The full lineup for the festival includes performances from artists like Snow Patrol, Craig David, Kim Wilde, Pixie Lott, Manic Street Preachers, Sister Sledge feat Kathy Sledge, Paul Heaton, Gabrielle, Shed Seven, Delta Goodrem, and Haircut 100.
