Telecinco Mediaset delays the end of 'Sálvame' again: the last broadcast of 'Viernes Deluxe' will be on July 7

If the end of ‘Sálvame’ seemed very close after Mediaset’s announcement to cancel the space presented by Jorge Javier Vázquez, the life of the program will be extended until July 7.

It is the second delay that the company establishes in recent weeks, since the end of the issue had previously gone from June 16 to 23.

“‘Viernes Deluxe’ will finally have its last broadcast on Telecinco on Friday, July 7 due to programming adjustments,” reads the brief statement from Mediaset.

The program that will replace ‘Sálvame’ during the summer months and until the new Ana Rosa Quintana program premieres in the afternoons of Telecinco in September, has been entrusted to the production company Cuarzo Producciones. In charge of the program will be Sandra Barneda who, although she is currently recording the seventh season of “The Island of Temptations” in the Dominican Republic, she would arrive for the new program.

The problem is the overload of productions that Cuarzo Producciones has ahead of it. In addition to ‘The island of temptations 7’, Cuarzo Producciones also has ahead of it the new reality show announced by Mediaset this Wednesday, ‘¡Vaya vacaciones!’, presented by Luján Argüelles and which is also scheduled to premiere during the summer months . If the summer substitute for ‘Sálvame’ is added to this project, which is also recorded outside of Spain, in the Dominican Republic, the result is obvious: Cuarzo Producciones needs more time and has requested it from Mediaset.
