Of Imelsa to Divalterra, the headquarters of the patronage of PP and Botànic

The current head of the legal services of Divalterra, Jose Luis Vera, said last week during more than six hours before the team of the Unit of Economic and Financial Crime of the Police (UDEF) in the framework of the so-called ‘Operation Farm’, in which he stopped the then president of the Diputación de Valencia, Jorge Rodriguez, and five others by the recruitment spot of senior positions in the public company dependent of the corporation.

Vera was quoted in Valencia by officers of the UDEF displaced from Madrid, in quality of witness, as it has been able to know THE WORLD. Despite the fact that it was not one of those arrested in the operation, Jose Luis Vera is a key person in the case, since that is the maximum legal manager of the public company from that PSPV, Compromís and Valencia city council assumed the reins of the Corporation.

Vera said in the month of August due to the holder of the court Number 9 of Valencia, Miguel Angel Casañ, and the prosecutor-anti-corruption, Paul Ponce, also as a witness. Now it has done so to the police responsible for preparing the report from which the judge and prosecutor should accelerate the step on a cause that remains declared to be secret. The UDEF, among other issues, asked Vera why not objected to the contracts.

Jose Luis Vera is the ultimate legal advisor of the said company to the public and not left his post nor even when they occurred the relay in management. First it was with José Ramón Tíller, after Victor Sahuquillo and, later, with Xavi Simó. Not even the political decision of the co-management between the PSPV and Compromís will affect the time of stay.

Jose Luis Vera, as legal manager of Divalterra, was in charge of ensuring the adjustment of legal decisions, including top management contracts to seven high charges related to PSPV and Compromís without the mandatory selection process, and public of free competition, that ended with Jorge Rodriguez in the dungeon and out of the Presidency of the Council of Valencia. The cause is still for the alleged crimes of malfeasance and embezzlement of flows.

The idea of the controversial procurement already handled in July 2015, newly aterrrizado the new provincial government, which stood as a manager of Imelsa (the former name of the current Divalterra), José Ramón Tíller, a man of confidence who was the first chief of cabinet Jorge Rodríguez, José Manuel Orengo and José Luis Vera, manager then of the drafting of the reports regarding this type of contracting, is now under investigation.
