‘The Voice’ Season 12 Premiere: Who Are The Judges For The 2017 NBC Series?

“The Voice” will be returning to NBC for Season 12 on Monday in search of the next big star. While the competition may be fierce, it’s the judges that bring life and humor to the series and makes the show even more entertaining.

The NBC series is known for switching things up when it comes to the judges and this upcoming season is no different. This time around contestants at the audition will try to impress Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani and Alicia Keys.

Adam Levin

Levine is known for being the frontman of Maroon 5 belting out hit songs like “Sugar,” “Animals” and “This Love.” The group has won three Grammy Awards and have received 12 nominations. When the singer wrote the theme song “Lost Stars” to the film he acted in, “Begin Again,” it received an Academy Award nomination for best original song. A fan of acting, Levine will next appear in upcoming films “Fun Mom Night” and “The Clapper.” Levine has been the coach for three winners on “The Voice.”

Blake Shelton

Shelton, whose team members have won “The Voice” five times, is no stranger to victory. The singer has won the CMA Award for male vocalist of the year five times and was the first country artist to win the favorite album category at the People’s Choice Awards.

Gwen Stefani

Stefani, who used to perform alongside music group No Doubt, seems to be enjoying her solo moment. Not only does she have her own clothing line, L.A.M.B., but she has several hit songs including “Hollaback Girl,” “Cool” and “Used to Love You.” Stefani, who has won three Grammy Awards, is currently playing the role of global brand ambassador for Revlon’s “Choose Love” campaign.

Alicia Keys

The 15-time Grammy Award winner  has sold more than 30 million albums worldwide thanks to hit songs like “Unthinkable” and “No One” and has no problem achieving success. Keys is the first female R&B artist to have three No. 1 album debuts on the Billboard 200 album chart and has also dabbled in film appearing in “The Secret Life of Bees” and “Smokin Aces.”
